Rwenzori Birds Conservation Network is a local Community Based Organization driven by a passion to create wildlife awareness within communities facing challenges such as community hunting, deforestation, poverty, and illiteracy. Our primary goal is to champion the cause of environmental protection by empowering people to take action.

Empowering People to Take Action At Rwenzori Birds, we believe in bringing people closer to nature. Many children feel unwelcome or unsafe in green spaces or lack access to wild places near their homes. We recognize that these issues are often linked to broader societal issues of discrimination, privilege, or oppression. As part of the environmental sector, we are committed to addressing these challenges. We aim to ensure that children understand the impacts of wildlife, return to school, visit protected areas, and gain an appreciation for preserving our culture.
